Filing a roofing insurance claim is rarely as straightforward as homeowners expect. Adjusters work for the insurance company, documentation requirements can be strict, and claims for legitimate damage are sometimes underpaid or partially denied. JACK Contracting works alongside homeowners throughout the claims process to make sure the damage is properly identified, documented, and presented so you receive the settlement your policy entitles you to.
We start with a thorough roof inspection that identifies all storm-related damage, including the subtler impacts that adjusters sometimes overlook. We photograph every affected area, document our findings in writing, and can be present during the adjuster visit to walk through the damage together. Our goal is to make sure nothing gets missed and that the scope of work submitted to your insurer accurately reflects what your roof actually needs.

Superior Craftsmanship Every project is completed with careful attention to detail, high-quality materials, and workmanship designed to protect your home for years to come.
Personal Touch We believe homeowners deserve clear communication and honest guidance, so you always understand the process and feel confident in the work being done.
Financing & Claims Assistance The insurance claims process involves several steps, and we are prepared to assist at each one. After our initial damage inspection, we provide you with a detailed written report and photograph set that you can submit with your claim. When the adjuster comes out, we can meet them on site to point out damage areas and provide context for our findings, which often results in a more complete and accurate assessment.
If the initial claim settlement does not fully cover the necessary repairs or replacement, we can assist with the supplemental claim process. This includes preparing additional documentation, identifying damage that may have been overlooked, and supporting your case for reconsideration. We have helped many homeowners in Northern Virginia successfully supplement underpaid claims and ensure their roofs were restored properly.
Quick conversation to understand your needs, answer questions, and schedule an on-site visit.
We inspect your home, assess the scope of work, and explain your options clearly and honestly.
Our crew arrives on schedule and begins work using proven systems, quality materials, and clean jobsite practices.
We finish with a full walkthrough, answer any remaining questions, and ensure you’re happy before we leave.
JACK Contracting does not manage your insurance claim on your behalf, and we are upfront about that distinction. We are roofing contractors, not public adjusters, and our role is to inspect damage accurately, communicate clearly, and complete the work correctly once a settlement is reached. What we bring to the process is honest documentation, consistent communication, and roofing expertise that carries weight in conversations with adjusters.
We never inflate damage assessments to chase a larger settlement, and we never pressure homeowners into filing claims for damage that is not storm-related. Our reputation is built on doing the right thing on every job, and that applies to the insurance process just as much as the installation itself. When the claim is settled and the work is approved, we move quickly to complete the project so your home is protected as soon as possible.
Either order works, but many homeowners find it helpful to have a roofer inspect first so they understand the scope of damage before speaking with their insurer. Coming into that conversation with a detailed damage report gives you a stronger starting point.
In most cases we recommend waiting until a settlement is reached so there are no disputes about scope or cost after the fact. For emergency situations where the roof is actively compromised, we can apply temporary protective measures while the claim process continues.
